All your contacts in the system have certain statuses, depending on their activity and actions in campaigns.

Contacts Available for Sending

  • New – a contact that has been uploaded but has not yet received any campaign from you;
  • Active – a contact that has successfully received at least one campaign from you.

An active contact, as a recipient in a campaign, can have the following statuses:

  • Delivered – the email has been received;
  • Opened – the contact opened the email but did not click on any link in the email;
  • Clicked – the contact opened the email and clicked on at least one link in the email.

Contacts Unavailable for Sending

  • Does not exist – the mailbox does not exist, so delivery is impossible;
  • Mailbox full – the contact cannot receive the email because their mailbox is full. If they clean it up, email delivery will become possible;
  • Unavailable – the contact is currently unavailable;
  • Unsubscribed – the contact unsubscribed from receiving campaigns via a link in an email from a previous campaign;
  • Unsubscribed by us – the contact has been unsubscribed by you manually;
  • Complained – the contact complained about spam in a previous campaign.

System Values

If you export contacts from a completed campaign or lists, you will see more different statuses. Here's what they mean:

  • New – a contact that has been uploaded but has not yet received any campaign from you;
  • Active – a contact that has successfully received at least one campaign from you;
  • Unsubscribed – the contact unsubscribed from receiving campaigns via a link in an email from a previous campaign;
  • Unsubscribed by us – the contact has been unsubscribed by you manually;
  • Soft bounced – the contact cannot receive the email because their mailbox is full. If they clean it up, email delivery will become possible;
  • Hard bounced – the mailbox does not exist, so delivery is impossible;
  • Error – the contact is currently unavailable;
  • Complaint – the contact complained about spam in a previous campaign;
  • Delivered – the email has been delivered;
  • Opened – the contact opened the email but did not click on any link in the email;
  • Clicked – the contact opened the email and clicked on at least one link in the email.
