You can add email subscribers to your database using a subscription form — simply place it on your website or blog page.

In this article, we'll look at how to create a simple subscription form in the simplified EmailMassivo editor.

To start creating a subscription form, go to the "Forms" section and click the "Create a form" button.

Next, the form creation window will open. Enter a form name, select a recipient list, and select a sender.

The recipient list is where subscribers from this form will be added. If you do not have a list yet, create one before continuing.

For the sender, use an address on a verified domain. You can also select the EmailMassivo test sender. The test sender can send confirmation emails to up to 5 contacts; add a verified sender to remove this limit.

Click "Next" to continue.

Create form window with name, recipient list, and sender fields

The form editor has four steps: Sender, Content, Form fields, and Design.

On the Sender step, check the sender selected when creating the form. You can change the sender and specify the sender name that subscribers will see in the confirmation email. Click "Continue".

On the Content step, select the form type:

  • embedded form — a form that can be inserted into your website or blog in a specific location to collect subscribers;
  • pop-up form — a form that appears on the site according to the display conditions you set.

Then set the form content — the heading, text, and the messages subscribers will see in the form and in the confirmation email — and click "Continue".

This is how an email with a custom sender header will look:

At the next stage, add custom form fields.

At the final stage, change the design settings you need and click the "Save form" button.

Done! Now the subscription form is created and you can place the HTML code anywhere on your website where you want to place the subscriber collection form.

If you place the code on your website, the embedded form will look like this:

The pop-up form will look like this:

In the "Forms" section, each form card shows the selected sender. If the form uses the test sender and the sending limit has been reached, a warning will appear on the card. To continue sending confirmation emails without the test limit, edit the form and select a sender on a verified domain.

When subscribing, the user will receive an email asking them to confirm their email address. After confirming their email, the user will be added to the Contacts list in EmailMassivo.
